  • Kirwans Lane is close to the Spanish Arch, is a small street with ares of the middle ages, all well preserved.

  • The nights of entertainment can be great experience when they on so drop by to see and it is great to see more history of Galway.

  • The seafood chowder is one of the best I've ever had! And the Connemara mussels were steamed perfectly. A nice little spot just away from the main tourist-congested Quay Street. I recommend a reservation or come in really early. They were turning people away throughout my dinner there even though there were some open tables. Worth it though!
  • Wonderful food, wonderful service, absolutely excellent experience! Best fish and chips of all time for me! I thought the prices were extremely reasonable too. The negative reviews i read must have been talking about a different place..
  • RUDE!!! Service was deplorable. The host was a snob and made no attempt at answering any questions. He was too busy interrupting us with flamboyant stories about all of his empty tables at 2115 on a Thursday were with incoming reservations. A lie! We waited outside while googling a better place and no one showed up or walked in during that time. I will be letting the Hotel concierge know about their attitude too.
  • The price quality is amazing. Good food for a real good price!
  • Frighteningly expensive but flawlessly executed seafood dishes of highest quality and freshness. Expect an ever changing selection like whole black sole on the bone with anchovy butter, and platters of local Galway Bay oysters. Atmosphere is warm and solidly romantic without any pretensions but you pay dearly for all this. Great to splurge. Not at all suitable for children.
