  • The races were on at very short time compared tot he July Races but good to be back to watch it all happen again.
  • Everywhere we went in the country, horse racing was on TV. The love affair of the island with horses and racing is apparent if you know where to look. The stands and course are massive, and like most ...  more »
  • We spent two September days at the races and, having visited many other courses, have to say that this place is one of the best: for atmosphere and value. It started when I phoned from England with a ...  more »

  • WE ATTEND BALLYBRIT RACECOURSE EVERY YEAR FOR THE GALWAY RACES IT IS EASY TO LOCATE ON THE OUTSKIRTS OF THE CITY.A GREAT PLACE TO MEET FRIENDS AND HAVE THE CRACK VERY ONE IS FRIENDLY AND ITS POSSIBLE TO LEAVE WITH WINNING BETS
  • I was expecting something great. The galway races had been talked about for years. You basically have to hang out and drink in a bookies, the food is mediocre and the entertainment around the races is minimal. This could be so much better.
  • Some people wait all year for this event, I guess you have to be really into it, I went there for a first time last year with a group of friends from work and I can not say that I enjoyed it immensely but I am not Irish, I am not local and I am certainly not interested in gambling and betting. So you see I am not the right person to rate this properly. As I said everyone else in my company had a craicing time!! Some even won a lot of money (hey, they knew what they were doing!!!) others lost some but hey, I guess that's what it is all about!! Anyway, we had a few well over priced drinks and stood in the crowded corridors for a few hours blown away by the horrid draft...The only enjoyable thing for me was the meal we had it was actually lovely. So if you go there you better like horses and gambling!! Good luck :-)
  • Great place during the Galway Races!
  • Lost a shite ton of money but still 10/10 would lose again
