  • I ended up staying at an Airbnb just off the Docks. It was fun to see the ships come in and out. It was also pretty cool to see the festival set up! Quite a cool place to be at! Definitely try to hit ...  more »
  • No good reason to visit galway. Tidal restrictions and expensive limited facilities. Better head north to Rossaveel and catch a bus to Galway.  more »
  • The harbour area is very characteristic, you can wander far and wide and find a bit of everything: there are the part that open to the sea and are very impressive, there is the part with apartments and shops where always blows a great wind but you can see many boats and ships (there's often a very funny pink) , there are less parts BLES (like mega parking or where you see the column of waste (debris, rubble or tires or whatever it is), so there's a little bit of everything, sooner or later you pass and are inevitable pictures.
