  • Michael Davitt Museum is well worth a visit. From the moment we walked into the museum, we were greeted very warmly by Kathleen, our tour guide. It is very reasonably priced, 5 Euro for adults and 3 Euro for children. We were offered free tea and biscuits as we watched the overview video. We were then given a full guided tour of the museum and environs. A must-do tour if in the area. Not to be missed.. ..
  • Brilliant local museum with extremely knowledgeable staff that went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our visit. Extremely good value at 5 euro per person which includes a cup of tea or coffee. I couldn't speak highly enough of this attraction and I hope to be back in the future!
  • Very interesting, great exhibits and well informed staff who can't do enough for you. Fabulous. I'm glad I called by and would definitely recommend
  • guide called Therese was excellent. really knew her stuff. lovely cup of tea at the end. excellent value for money.
  • We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Michael Davitt Museum! Despite not having enough cash for the very reasonable entrance fee (we went back later with a donation!), the people working there couldn’t have been nicer. Not only did they answer all our questions, they also gave our daughter a book to learn some basic Irish. We had never heard of Davitt before we went so it was enlightening to discover his important role in fighting for land rights for the Irish, as well as his work abroad. Highly recommended!
