  • Small typical village located 3 good hours drive from Dublin and the middle of nowhere part. This village is a busy crossing place and a place of worship of the salmon fishery. Foxford is, indeed, a village where the best spots in salmon from the river Moy. It is therefore, in my view, a place to visit for fishers and a place to visit before entering nearby Connemara for tourists visiting the Ireland.
