  • Very informative tour , the grounds of the castle are well maintained and easily accessed by all , a good way to spent an hour or 2 .
  • History tour is well worth your time. It is in the village of Ferns and on the way to Dublin from Enniscorthy or visa-versa. A ruins that has been developed into a wealth of history and art.

  • If a man greets you at the gate asking if you have time for a tour, the answer is YES! The tour is free and Larry, our guide, was the most amazing historian storyteller you will meet. This is one of those lesser known places with few tourists... go now while it's still free of charge and mostly free of the masses. Fantastic place!
  • A nice little castle. An excellent free guided tour. Tomás was very informative but very relaxed. Nice views from the top of the tower. Well with a visit.
  • Fantastic tour by Sinead.
  • We arrived just as a tour had started & it was great timing. The Tour is a must, so informative & lots to see. Views at top of the tower are amazing. OPW guides were brilliant and very friendly.
  • Was a nice castle, damaged but good to see in its true condition.
