Enniscrone golf club were kind enough to allow us have a Ireland - Scotland golf competition that we have each year. The course is fantastic and we had a great three days.
Definitely a great golf course. Great variety of holes. I'll definitely be back there again
Played the course on a sunny day with a breeze of about 20 mph. I thought the course was fair, greens not quiet as good as some other lynx courses I have played. That said I would highly recommend it, great par five holes hard to pick a favourite. There are some blind shots so get a stroke saver. Very good value at €35. Our highest handicapper had 34 points so if you don't try the miracle shots and keep the ball in play I.E. take your punishment you should enjoy golf here regardless of your handicap
This must surely be one of the best links courses in the world ... make sure you look at the views from the white tees even if they are too scary for you to play from. Nice clubhouse too.
Enniscrone Golf Club is one of the most famous in the West of Ireland, having hosted many great competitions. We played there after a wedding. Certainly a place to clear the cobwebs, after a night on the town. We found it a bit too difficult for the average player, plus the green fee was very expensive. We paid 200 euro for a fourball. Certainly too expensive in those times and far too expensive for a day after a wedding.
Certainly one of the finest links courses in Ireland. Great facilities overall.
