Lovely day out, we were blest with good weather. Brought our 2 small kids for a day out as out 5 year old wanted to go fishing. Fishing rod and tackle available for rent at the shop on the way in and ... more »
Was there on Monday last with a nine year old boy and five year old girl. Was very disappointed. I had heard so much about it was we were all looking forward to a great day out. I had checked on the website to make sure that all the activities were open and the only thing that was closed was the train. The climbing wall, abseiling, zip line was closed and when we asked what the story was staff said it was "owned by someone else" and they were not sure if it open today or not! It didn't! My son was so disappointed. The archery, face painting, arts and craft and pony rides were not open either. The staff were not very helpful or friendly. The toilets were filthy and the place looked generally run down. My 5 year old enjoyed the bouncy castle area but 9 year old was bored. We had bought 20 tokens each for the children but we still had 20 left and we looked for our money back. They said they did not refund money for tokens, to which we said that there was very little open to spend them on so they suggested we spend it on ice cream or keep them for our next visit! Will not be going back.
Nice but prices are high and I'm purity sure the fishing is a scam I went fishing there with my dad a couple o months ago and he's a pro and didn't catch anything also prices are very high and the lakes run down
A great full day of outdoor activities. Staff all friendly. Food tasty and fresh. Easy Parking and toilets on site good condition
Rides closed earlier than advertised and we had to argue with the lady on reception to get our money back for the tokens we could not use. Toilets were not in good condition. Walk around the lake was pleasant.
It's a relaxing place where you can make a barbecue, fishing or challenge your friends on climbing, carting...
