  • This place is great. The guide was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about marine life. I would recommend this place 100% as it mixed the solemn athmosphere of a church with the history of sea fare in...  more »
  • This is a great Museum on navigating largely interactive. Talking with one of the guides I found out that the collection supports itself with the Suns tickets and with works of volunteering on the part of members to the Association of local sailors. The exhibition is beautiful and I highly recommend a visit.

  • Lots to learn about technology in maritime. For example, did you know that metal interference with compass was solved for ships only by Kelvin (Google "Kelvin balls")? Most objects have well written descriptions to them, with great Irish humor. Want to smuggle guns? Graphics shows how Irish did it several times in 1910s. make sure to learn how to rescue people in the sea without swimming in hi tech way before drones. Also, small cafe right inside was very helpful to take a break.
  • If you come, be sure to get a guided tour. My friend and I took a tour around this somewhat small museum, guided by Donald. He really brought the museum to life for us! This museum is full of interesting stories and artifacts from Ireland's maritime history. It's definitely worth the visit!
  • My daughter got arrived on Friday 17th June. An amazing venue and the people there are just wonderful and so helpful. Thank you for doing an amazing job in such a beautiful place. Everyone is talking about it. We will visit again soon.
  • Awesome. Totally worth the visit if you're in Dun Laoghaire. Adults and kids alike love it. Worth a couple of hours.
  • Very nice museum. It's small (takes around an hour), but cheap and really worth visiting.
