  • A free spot to learn a bit about James Joyce and his time serving in the tower. The top of the tower has a nice view too! Also the staff was kind and helpful!  more »

  • Like stepping into Chapter 1 of Ulysses. Learning about Joyce's brief stay and the circumstances of his leaving gives insight into the characters
  • Free museum. A must for all Joyce fans. History is fascinating and has many items of his along with photos and whatnot. The room mentioned in Ulysses is as the book describes it. Decent views at top of tower but chilly and windy.
  • Fun little museum with enthusiastic guides and fantastic views of Dùn Laoghaire!
  • A short but very pleasant visit. The view from above was just fantastic, if not for the wind which wow.. it was so strong and cold (we went in January so).
  • Nice myseum inside Of Martillo tower.Súper friendly staff.Impressed withnarrow stairs going upstairs. Exhibition on 1st floor.Nicest views from the roof.Entrance absolutely free.
