Where to stay in Dublin

Dublin offers everything from luxury hotels to eclectic guesthouses. Explore over 1,000 years of history in the city on foot by staying at one of the hotels or hostels in the city center. The south side of the river has always been a popular place to stay, particularly near Temple University or the tourist nightlife center Temple Bar, but a new crop of attractive options has popped up on the north side as well. For more affordable accommodations, try a hostel or make your way toward St. Stephen's Green for a more comfortable stay at a mid-range hotel. If the artistic spirit of Dublin is what beckoned you, spend your holiday in a guesthouse near the creative Lower Gardiner Street.

  • Great experience! The guide was friendly and open to questions. She was very informed and narrated the history of whiskey and especially the Teeling values really nicely. The whole interior is beautiful and the tasting experience was also great. We chose the Trinity package which includes tasting 3 different whiskeys and my personal favorite was the small batch. I totally recommend it!
  • Great whiskey. I prefer the small batch, but the Trinity tasting is a great value. The cafe has some nice food options if whiskey isn't your thing. During our experience the staff was friendly and we happen to have a friendly chat with the parents of one of the owners at the bar. A really nice family. I found the tour to be much more personable versus the Guinness tour down the road. A nice place to visit for whiskey lovers or just wanting to have a nice cocktail at the bar.
  • This was a fantastic tourist attraction in Dublin even if your not the biggest fan of whisky. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable friendly and would go out of his way for us. The tour was very informative and you actually get to see inside ans behind the scenes. They have different stations which breaks the tour down and at the end there is an amazing bar where you can try the whisky. The bar is lovely to sit and enjoy a drink in and if you don't like whisky there is a whisky cocktail which tastes amazing even though it contains whisky. Then there is a nice shop with lovely gifts and the most amazing cafe serving delicious hot drinks and food. Wouldn't miss out on visiting this place.
  • Love the distillery tour here. Bri-an was my tour guide and he's great to explains everything in details along with a good sense of humor. This got to be the best distillery tour in Dublin that I had as I can visually see what's going on there instead of just pictures telling you how they do it.
  • A new based distillery in the center of the city. The only working distillery of Dublin. A small family business with great tradition. The tour gives you a great feel of whiskey making. Would definitely recommend it.
