Shelbourne Park Greyhound Stadium, Dublin

Cheer on your best bet at Shelbourne Park Greyhound Stadium, a venue popular with both locals and visitors. The greyhound racing stadium has appeared in the British television show, Top Gear, where a car raced a greyhound, and the dog won. While you watch the races, stop by the on-site restaurant for a meal. Customers have raved about the dining experience and cuisine, and the Roisin's sticky toffee pudding comes highly recommended. • Great place to go for something different. Book a table and have a nice meal. Have a bet for fun if you want to. Good night out with your other half or a group of friends.
  • This is a fun and lively place. Terrific for families as great space to move around. Also quite trendy. Food in restaurant is excellent and you have a live show (racing ) while dining at your table with great views and have tote staff service so you don't have to move!! Often there is music when racing is over so all in all a great nights entertainment.
  • Fantastic night out. Brought the kids, had dinner in restaurant and placed tote bets at the table. Brilliant fun, not too expensive. Great atmosphere
  • Great place to park Monday to Friday. Very fair pricing structure.
  • They have no first aid cover on the premises the management don't care about first day cover the security guards have basic first aid I was involved with an organisation who done for stage cover but the manager did not want to put a first aid post and A E D on site all the management are interest on doing is making money but they are not covering the safety of general public so I would not talk to Promises for a party or night out I believe the grounds are not safe enough but it's up to the general public what he or she wants to do

Where to stay in Dublin

Dublin offers everything from luxury hotels to eclectic guesthouses. Explore over 1,000 years of history in the city on foot by staying at one of the hotels or hostels in the city center. The south side of the river has always been a popular place to stay, particularly near Temple University or the tourist nightlife center Temple Bar, but a new crop of attractive options has popped up on the north side as well. For more affordable accommodations, try a hostel or make your way toward St. Stephen's Green for a more comfortable stay at a mid-range hotel. If the artistic spirit of Dublin is what beckoned you, spend your holiday in a guesthouse near the creative Lower Gardiner Street.
