  • The first thing that seemed surprising to me was the fact you had to pay an entrance fee to the outdoor water themed park and then pay for the rides/attractions. You could pay for each attraction you ...  more »
  • The staff in Clara Lara are so rude, and show no enthusiasm what's so ever! Would definitely need to re employ. They were so unfair and made you feel uncomfortable . The owner/manager apparently watch...  more »
  • My 8, 9 & 10 kids loved it. Bring a change of clothes (snuggle ones if possible), food for a picnic, try to get a table to use as your base, get the bands for €10, do the rowboats first, get there ear...  more »

  • Great day out with family or for older kids/ young adults! Something for everyone. Slides, pirate boat, tree houses, sand pit, zip line, ropes to swing through water, pedal boats, water everywhere so have plenty of spare clothes and appropriate footwear! Food available there but long queues. Bring food and have a picnic or barbecue. I found it a bit too busy in the summer when we were there queues for everything! Be prepared to spend the day there!!
  • Fabulous natural playground set within a forest beside a tranquil river. Plenty of adrenal action for under 13yrs who enjoy running and jumping into lakes, rowing boats where you can get out and give a tow to and of course the obstacles courses. Great value cafe serving typical fast food but cooked fresh to order at a normal price. Seasonal ticket available. Well worth a visit bring a fresh set of clothes or put your child ina wetsuit shoes have to be worn ... they will be getting VERY wet..! But so many smiles!!
  • Clara Lara fun park is well sign posted making it easy to find it. My day out at Clara Lara was very exciting, there was all that you will ever need, for adults and children too! All the activities were amazing and well built and defiantly occupies the kids for the whole day! I really recommend Clara Lara fun park to anyone!
  • A great day out for the kids. Plenty of activities for them to do. Large BBQ pits available to use across the park. Not a kid with a iPad to be seen. Reasonably priced as well. We go every year. Well staffed
  • Probably four stars for children older than 7. If your children are younger than this then they may not enjoy just as much. We had no idea what to expect so were a little unprepared for all the water. This park could be described as a water park so come prepared with changes of clothes.

Where to stay in Dublin

Dublin offers everything from luxury hotels to eclectic guesthouses. Explore over 1,000 years of history in the city on foot by staying at one of the hotels or hostels in the city center. The south side of the river has always been a popular place to stay, particularly near Temple University or the tourist nightlife center Temple Bar, but a new crop of attractive options has popped up on the north side as well. For more affordable accommodations, try a hostel or make your way toward St. Stephen's Green for a more comfortable stay at a mid-range hotel. If the artistic spirit of Dublin is what beckoned you, spend your holiday in a guesthouse near the creative Lower Gardiner Street.
