Aras an Uachtarain (The Irish White House), Dublin
(4.3/5 based on 90+ reviews on the web)
Sitting grandly in Phoenix Park, Aras an Uachtarain (The Irish White House) serves as the official residence of the President of Ireland. Though the building started as a brick house for the park's ranger in 1751, today this stately structure resembles the iconic White House in Washington, D.C. Admire the grand exterior or pop into the visitor's center to arrange a guided tour, which grants access to some of the state rooms and includes lots of information about the history of the park, house, and presidency of Ireland. For travelers who use our custom trip planner, Dublin holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Aras an Uachtarain (The Irish White House) and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • You can only visit on Saturday and take the ticket on the day of your visit. Is free of charge. A decorative and artistic that you wouldn't expect. Such a pity that we cannot photograph the Interior. Definitely recommended to anyone

  • I was lucky to snag the last tour ticket of the day, no charge! The tour guide was very friendly, and made sure all questions were answered along the way. Very beautiful building, with a lot of history.
  • As part of Dublin Culture night we got tickets to visit this place. Beautiful rooms and lots of history. Worth emailing in early to get tickets.
  • Nice building with some great history. Formerly Viceregal Lodge
  • Had a good time with Higgins great man, his a cracker. Love to go there again
  • You feel that you are in front of the American white house, only with very little surveillance. It's in the phoenix park and you can stand really near to it.
