Where to stay in Dublin

Dublin offers everything from luxury hotels to eclectic guesthouses. Explore over 1,000 years of history in the city on foot by staying at one of the hotels or hostels in the city center. The south side of the river has always been a popular place to stay, particularly near Temple University or the tourist nightlife center Temple Bar, but a new crop of attractive options has popped up on the north side as well. For more affordable accommodations, try a hostel or make your way toward St. Stephen's Green for a more comfortable stay at a mid-range hotel. If the artistic spirit of Dublin is what beckoned you, spend your holiday in a guesthouse near the creative Lower Gardiner Street.

  • Overends Restaurant features a wonderful family dining experience. One can stop in for a bite to eat with, or without visiting Airfield Estate. It can tend to be quite busy on the weekends but the wait it never too long. Dining can be a bit noisy at busier times :) The food is locally sourced and wonderful. Airfield also produces some terrific baked goods and they serve some delicious coffee. The venue overall is bright and well designed. On a quiet day it makes for a wonderfully mellow and relaxing experience. Highly recommend a visit to the farm and estate, especially if you have younger children. They all seem to love the experience!
  • Beautiful place with lots of animals,flowers...a lot to see. Place for kids to play, have a picnic and buy something to eat/drink. Employees are always kind and ready to help you.
  • I didnt know about it thought I was meeting a friend at an airfield... very family friendly... nice gardens... nice restaurant
  • Great working farm with lovely walks and cafes. Loved being able to see cows getting milked and baby farm animals. Fabulous place for all the family.
  • You will find there not only animal farm, gardens, and cafe but also an interesting history lesson written by Overend Family. The main house has been enriched with interactive experience creating atmospheric journey about lives of the daughters Letitia and Naomi. If you happen to travel in the area this place is well worth to visit.
