  • Visited Red Mountain Farm with my sister and 2 & a half year old niece and my parents, so one child, 4 adults. Well, we ALL had such a great time. We arrived just as it opened at 1pm and stayed till 4.30pm. It was a typical Irish Sunday, so it was raining... on and off. The great thing is that there are things to do inside for the kids... a maze, slides, climbing thingy, pedal tractors..... bunnies to pet, funny little goats that are so cute. There is a small shop where you can get tea, coffee, soft drinks, ice cream, sweets... and a large picnic area where we had a packed lunch that we brought ourselves. Then we went on a short jaunt around the fields in the horse-drawn wagon... like something straight from the wild west. My niece was thrilled and we all left very tired and happy.
  • It is ok, nothing spectacular. Animal sheed seem to bit small, there is nowhere to see animals outside. They are being kept in designated cages. Also if you bringing kids with you in double boogy, then there is no platform or easy way to get up to entry reception area. So you either need to lift it yourself or ask someone Staff is very friendly and nice, big car park. We went there before Halloween, didn't use train or horse carriage and the whole visit closed in an hour.
  • Is a nice place for a weekend away with child. My daughter enjoyed it so much. Is not a fancy place but a relaxing and quiet place suitable for family.
  • Had my twins birthday party here 2 years in a row. Great place once you are organised.
  • Great for the kids lots for them to participate in. Lots of sheltered areas so weather won't spoil the picnic.
