The Island Golf Club was established in 1890 and, surrounded by the sea on three sides, it enjoys a unique setting. • What a lovely links golf course! Play it if you can. Here are how the Gulf began. In the clubhouse, there is a photo of the ten people who started the Club in 1890. A slender, distinct links golf course, very genuine. Great shop, clubhouse restaurant. They flew the Swedish flag when they understood from whence we came.

  • This superb links is located on a point. It is bordered by the sea. We're on a real links with everything that goes with it. It is a course to be done imperatively. The environment is beautiful.

  • What about if only this place is magical. We were a group of 16 french golfers. Upon arrival a table was set up for lunch and the Tricolor flag fluttered from the top of its mast in the Irish wind. The staff in the pro shop was quality and still two levels above the restaurant. The server is at the level of the rest of the place. Friendly, smiling, helpful and accommodating. Come in to the course. To start the wind was probably not far from the 50 km/h... The view from the tee 1 gives the measure of the course. The quality of the fairways, greens was a rare level especially in March. The design is beautiful, some departures leave mouth gaping. If you're in the area feel free to get there. The icing on the cake came from the weather that allowed us to play the last 9 holes with rays of sunshine and a light breeze. I hope to have the chance to go back someday.
