  • Beautiful location. Of course the castle has seen better days, but when you see those ruins you are dragged somewhere into the medieval era. Bring your camera with you.
  • Minard castle is in ruins and in itself is not reason enough to visit this location. However, it sits above a little gem of a beach and looks across Dingle Bay to the mountainous Iveragh Peninsula. It can be reached by car and is about an hours walk from Annascaul village if traveling on foot. Unfortunately the beach pretty much disappears at high tide.
  • Amazing Beach
  • Look but don't touch
  • A beautiful castle on the edge of a beautiful beach. A good summary of the Irish anglo conflict.
