An educational experience for all ages, Seal Rescue Ireland rehabilitates over 120 seals each year. This non-for-profit organization does not charge admission, relying instead on donations to keep helping endangered seals. Show your support by visiting or volunteering, an ideal chance to learn and help at the same time. Longer volunteering programs may work better for visitors interested in a fully immersive experience, but if you're pressed for time, you can spend just a day or two helping the seals. • Seal rescue is a small rescue doing great work. Friendly informative staff. Beautiful seals. We attended a seal release a couple of weeks ago. The kids loved it and are still talking about it and my son came home with a miniature seal teddy which he won't sleep without. Well worth a visit. Donations always welcome.
  • Very educational to learn about the two types of seals cared for at the Seal Rescue centre by volunteers. The young pups rescued are nourished until old enough to be put back into the sea where they must fend fy themselves. This center is supported mainly by donations. The Irish government does support but not enough to keep it running. If you would like to help contact the centre
  • They have very dedicated volunteers. They deal with seals in need of rescue across the whole coast of Ireland via a well organised network of volunteers. You can adopt a seal and witness their release. There are plenty of other ways to get involved.
  • Great experience seeing the rescued seals. The volunteers were very informative and friendly and they explained the operation of the rescue centre in great detail. Will visit again.
  • Well done to all the volunteers they do a fantastic job. Our guide was very informative about the seals. My family and I had a great time.
