  • A little underwhelming for a NATIONAL BOTANIC GARDEN, but no complaints as it is a free attraction, and guide was very helpful and informative.  more »

  • I've been going here absolute years and it's wonderful seeing it gradually evolve and becoming more and more developed respectively and cared for. Renowned for The Rhododendron Walk which is best to visit in April, there are also other fabulous specimens including 100+ year old Magnolia within the walled garden. Sadly some ancient Yews are been hit by disease and preservation/conservation work is ongoing to salvage remainder.
  • A fantastic example of a Botanic garden and sister garden to the National Botanic Gardens in Glasnevin. A wide variety of Rhododendrons and many other species of wonderful plants. There is lovely Magnolia trees and a very nice coffee shop. This is a wonderful place to visit. About an hour from Dublin in Co Wicklow.
  • Nice coffee shop. This park has a slightly wild feel about it. They have lots of little foot-worn paths and it's as if you've just stumbled upon this jewel by accident. It doesn't have a "produced" feeling, like everything has been placed perfectly for The tourist, It's so much better. We got to scramble up a semi dry river bed. The pond area is so beautiful, I loved it and the peace it encouraged.
  • A wonderland of beauty. For all the family. Being well developed by the national botanical gardens. Worth a visit.
  • Must say the drive up to the gardens is beautiful and the winding road with the trees draping out, you then enter the courtyard where the car park is and are blown away, the team in the coffee shop are incredible they greet everyone kids and adults with a genuine smile plus the drinks are of the best I've had!
