  • Lovely family day out any time of the year. Wander around this vast space and find a seemingly endless amount of plant, tree and flower varieties from around the globe. The gardens are high up, allowing for beautiful views of Wicklow all around. Kids find it adventurous to scour through the meandering paths throughout the park, through bushes and trees allowing imaginations to run wild...and indeed themselves! Relax in the Brambles cafe afterward for a warming drink or treat or continue walking the grounds in relaxation. I love it here! So lucky to live nearby.
  • Excellent botanical collection with expert information from Philip our guide, giving natural history and historical information in a very relaxed and informative style. Really enjoyed the visit. Food in the cafe was very good also.
  • drove by it and decided to go for a walk there. On a sunny day it's really beautiful and quiet. Great cakes in the cafe!
  • Brilliant day out was able to use the wheelchair to push my friend around the grounds. Lovely planting and the pond was looking very well. Well worth a visit will be great if the big house could get repaired and open to the public. Really enjoyed could spend hours here.
  • Stunningly beautiful and very little known. Has a fantastic variety of rare trees, plants and shrubs. Lovely little walks and a very good cafe to finish your visit at but beware, the portions are huge.
