  • My friend and I enjoyed our time here im the dead of winter; I can only imagine what it would be like in spring or summer. The suggested path with the different descriptions of all of the trees was absolutely lovely. The river running through the garden afforded excellent photo opportunities as well. The cafe and shop were darling, and had we had more time we would have gladly dined there. All in all, these gardens are well worth a visit even in January.
  • Beautiful grounds, amazing plants and wonderful walks! All very well cared for and the daily informative walks are extremely interesting! My favourites are the rhododendrons as far as the eye can see, but it’s beautiful no matter what time of the year it is, and whatever the weather.
  • Lovely place for a walk... id say when all the flowers are in bloom it would be magnificent. Worth a visit...
  • A closely guarded secret in Wicklow is our beautiful manicured gardens with a great little Brambles Cafe onsite with fabulous sweet treats or a full meal! And here's the kicker. The gardens are cared for by the Office of Public Works as a FREE amenity courtesy of the Irish government. Anytime of year there are lovely walkways with soul refreshing strolls in beautiful Irish countryside.
  • What a hidden gem, We went for a walk in what i would describe as a magical experience , had a lovely cup of coffee in the restaurant . Then we got Jam eggs and honey from a stall near the entrance. Its an honesty box???? country people are so trusting. The eggs were like what i remembered when i was a kid, I love this place
