  • The park helps to bring history to life with replicas of buildings and ways of life through the ages. There are guided tours, but all the information you require is on easy to read posters at the stop...  more »

  • Great day out for the family An enjoyable day out along a walk that cleverly takes you through the ages from ancient dwellings right up to the middle ages. No effort is spared. All the structures are authentic, complete, well-maintained and impressive with enough beauty and nature to appreciate along the walk with some archery lessons and a playground available also. Enough to keep both adults and children entertained.
  • Beautiful place great to see how ireland was however felt the area needs a little love lacking a nice family area where you can picnic and ensure the kids are safe. Needs maintaining and improving on facilities. The staff were excellent at their job. Pity more funding is not put in as this is a great tourism product for the Ancient East.
  • The Irish National Heritage Park is set in a 35 acre site next to the Slaney river, ten minutes from Wexford town. In what is probably the best attraction in the south East you'll walk through the history of dwellings in Ireland from neolithic times right through to the 12th century. In most history related attractions you are kept away from the exhibits but here you are able to enter all the dwellings and see how our ancestors lived. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and give an air of authenticity by lighting fires at all the attractions to make them feel lived in. There is also a restaurant and an extensive gift shop on site. Highly recommend a visit if you're in the area.
  • It has improved so much during the years. Very informative, educational, intetesting and fun. Feels like you time traveling through the different periods. Free parking. Coffee and restaurant. Gift shop. If you live in Wexford get a discount for entrance. Love every bit of it.
  • We visited the restaurant last week, lunchtime, during our recent 2 1/2 wks vacation here in Enniscorthy. The hot food selection is very good, tasty & large portions were given to us. Price is reasonable. Highly recommendable.
