Listen to the drums and fiddles echo off the cliffs on The Dingle Peninsula, a landscape dominated by the Slieve Mish mountain range and rugged coastlines and known for its rich Irish music tradition. Tall, jagged cliffs rise out of the waters, while sandy beaches offer some of the best surfing in Ireland, with certain areas also safe for swimming. Hiking trails range from challenging to easy and cut across the dynamic peninsula through mountains and over plateaus. The communities that live on the peninsula offer you fine dining, art galleries, and plenty of pubs with live traditional Irish music. Consider staying more than one day on the peninsula to experience all its natural and cultural highlights. • The tourist circuit of the Dingle Peninsula, in particular the loop along the Slea Head Road at the start of Dingle, is undoubtedly one of the highlights of our trip to Ireland (Group Tours Gendron, QC, Canada) as well as those of the ring of Kerry and Connemara region. But as for these, I can only recommend to do on a panoramic bus because the road is so narrow and frequented by many coaches of tourists it is very risky to venture there without experience of driving on this type of road. In addition, there not much clearance spaces along the road to enjoy the most of this beautiful panorama while bus, opportunities don't fail to take photos even in road. At least find out the best direction to take (the sea on your left) to follow coaches and not try to meet them.
