Really enjoyable day. Spent the morning here. Great to feed the animals and play on the diggers. We all got a spin on the train and had a great time.
We have visited Leahy's Open Farm numerous times and have now purchased annual passes for the whole family. This place is great-value and is guaranteed to entertain our kids (8 and 5) for hours whatev... read more »
Absolutely amazing place. They've taken the best bits from other similar places and put it all in one place. A real family welcome. A unique experience having a sing song in farmer Eddie's original homestead. Lots of outdoor activities like crazy golf and a maze and an indoor play area for rainy days. Go as soon as it opens because you really can spend the whole day there. Will definitely go back. Great value for money. Cannot praise it enough.
One of the best value places in Ireland for a day out with the kids. Lots of playgrounds, animal feeding and petting areas for the young ones and a museum with Irish historical items for the adults.
Best open farm by far. Lots to do for young and not so young. Staff very friendly and included everyone feeding and petting the animals. Eddie has an impressive collection of all sorts from by gone days and well laid out and displayed. Thank you for a GREAT DAY.
Leahy's farm is a decent sized, functional petting farm and zoo with a great cafe and kids play area, along with other fun additions. The entrance is also the exit and contains the giftshop and leads out to the playground and into the adjacent restaurant and children's play area. Prices are reasonable and customers are not ripped or viewed as a captive audience. The play area is several levels high and adults are allowed in to escort or help children. Parents can see every part of the play area from the seats, allowing peace of mind. The farm itself has a well laid out route and covers many farm animals - in addition to these there are other items such as pitch and putt, a quad bike train ride, and mini diggers to play with, right next to a large tube slide. The petting experience covers hamsters, mice, snakes, goats and pigs - staff are friendly and overall the experience is amazing. Well worth the drive out of way.
If you enjoy a mix of farm animals, farm history and kids playtime then this is the place for you. A Top day out for the family
