  • Very interesting ruins, in a lovely location. It would be nice to have a little bit more information around to discover the history of the place. Overall a good experience though
  • wonderful place to visit. It's so beautiful especially with the river and the monks fishing house. A not that much touristic place with a romantic touch surrounded by beautiful nature.
  • Amazing little place! We walked through the woods and saw the Monks fishing house. Right on the river, was so scenic. Very cool structure and nice common area.
  • We loved this place so much!! Had no idea my family name Gannon was a common name there. @ the Abbey cemetery, saw my family names. The Quiet Man John Wayne Movie has been a staple in my family for years :) a must see before u go. I could’ve stayed here for hours but so much to see in Ireland. Ashford Castle amazing & had our Christmas pic in front of. I’m going back soon to Eire’ & if x will go back. The feeling there you can’t describe enuf euphoric words. Stop @ the local pub for a Guinness & pub grub if x. You’ll have a blast!!☘️🌈👑🍄🍻⛪️🚗⚔️💚🍽💫🍀🐑🍁🇨🇮
  • This was a fun town to visit. Never saw the quiet man but the history of the town and the monks was interesting
