Nevada in the direction of the United States to join their parents arrived in America a year earlier. Arrival at destination (Ellis Island in New Jersey) the first day of the year 1892, Annie was officially recognized as the first Irish immigrant received in the U.S. We find another statue of Annie Moore at Ellis Island (without his brothers that one) conducted by the Irish sculptor Jeanne Rynhart, gift of the Irish American Cultural Institute to the American people. If you go through Cobh, located a few km east of Cork, then visit this small museum that addresses many other maritime issues important for the region and the Ireland, which the history of the wrecks of the Titanic and the Lusitania.
