  • St Patricks Well is a beautiful location to visit. Be aware of the many steps leading down to the well! But once you arrive there it is a truly magical place! Worth a trip!  more »
  • Lovely place for an hour or so. Very peaceful and tranquil, but so much better on a sunny day - especially if you want to picnic. Kids enjoyed the visit, but a limited amount to what you can do.  more »

  • This is where St Patrick Baptised up to 10thousand people a long while back when Meath was the Capital of Ireland there was a lovely gentleman by the name of David who gave us the history also the old well is still there and you can throw some coins in to it also the sound of the water rushing coming through the gaps and we were lucky to get so of the holy water to take home and we got to have a drink of the healing water.from it. AS the history goes one of the kings of Ireland had St Patrick baptise his son .There is another lake there that has formed over the years and the place is so peaceful and the old stone church and stone alar can be viewed . THE grounds and grass are are well kept also a lot of people vist the statue of St Patrick and leave small memories at the base and on the ledges .It is on the old Marlifed ground across the road from the Clonmel park hotel and a short distance from Clonmel town .Which also has a lot of interesting history .
  • A Beautiful, hidden gem at the outskirts of Clonmel. A treasure of the faith. St Patrick himself stayed here and baptised many over the course of 2 years. The water was blessed by St Patrick, and many miraculous cures have been attributed to the waters flowing from this well.
  • Nice place for a stroll. Beautiful scenery and a drinkable spring with 'magic' water.
  • It's a very peaceful place. Good place to visit with kids.
  • Used to love thus place, but it is now becoming littered with "religious" trinkets - a pity. Didn't happen before. National Monument sites are not defaced like this, mercifully.
