  • I had seen this in the Discover Ireland handbook for Ireland's East & South pocket guide described as a 17th century castle and gardens. Though I didn't tour in the interior of the castle, the grounds...  more »
  • Duration of house too short please include at least one bedroom on the tour, as it would havr been. Gardens were nice, St that time of year was expecting more flowers to be in Bloom, I liked the fact that it had a tea room and you could sit having tea and cake if you do wished, another one off my list of to do
  • Looks lovely. Not wheelchair or buggy friendly. They conduct tours at specific times of the day.. however when we visited and paid for the upcoming tour of the castle it was cancelled at the time to allow wedding photos... no so much as an apology
  • Stunning house and beautiful gardens. Amazing walks in the wilderness garden and yew tree avenue. Peacocks display in the gardens, pigs snuffle around and chickens scratch in the picturesque courtyard. The house tours are incredibly interesting and highly recommended. This was the best visit we made in the whole of Ireland, the staff and owners were incredibly helpful and delighted in showing us around. The kids loved running around and exploring. We will definitely come back again.
  • We were the only non staff guests staying in the castle. Was a highlight of our trip and walking the grounds was so delightful. Thank you to the gracious hosts!!!
  • Lovely grounds to explore with a quaint coffee shop and store. The castle tour is excellent with access to many areas of the house.
