  • Spent an enjoyable visit here on a glorious autumn day. Great detail and for older visitors the panels are fantastic with lots of interesting details about the towns and buildings and the train lines ...  more »
  • Worth a visit as part of visit for families and as part of your trip to Clonakilty. At the end have a coffee in an old railway carriage
  • Situated about 1.5 kilometers out of the town which can be walked but is a bit of a pull up the hill so i would advise driving to it It has a fine car park. Thinking this would be a collection of mode...  more »

  • Great attraction for kids, but definetely a torture for a bored adult. Train ride while got the kids going is a fair bit boring and extremely uncomfortable. At 11 euro for an adult it's a rip off.
  • One of the largest model railways depicting nearby places. Accurate, beautiful and we'll maintained. With a ride on road train around the town this makes for a fun day. If you look carefully you might see a life size spiderman.
  • A must for everyone who visits Clonakilty. They have a train drives around the town. Awesome place for kids.
  • Great spot for a day out. The kids (especially the boys) will love the model trains) Nice little bigger carriage cafe (it's an old train carriage) to have a cup of tea after strolling around the village. Bring your camera and take some pictures of you being a giant amongst the tiny model village!
  • Good place to visit with kids. The model railway is really good and there's lots of room for kids to run about following the trains and looking at the model towns etc. There's also good play facilities. Added to that, the train ride tour (which starts and finishes here and tours Clonakilty) is very good. All in all there's several hours of entertainment for a family visiting here. The food and coffee in the café wasn't the best quality but at least you bought it from an old dining car carriage.
