The Knockmealdown Mountains is a mountain range located on the border of counties Tipperary and Waterford in Ireland, running east and west between the two counties. The highest peak of the range is Knockmealdown, situated in County Waterford.   • Fantastic walking and views in the area - the beautiful Vee. Accessible from Clogheen easily. The ascents are very manageable and great place to meet other walkers. 
  • I climbed this (2,906 ft, but less if you start at the Vee carpark) and it had spectacular views of several counties and the coast from the top. You need to be fit, though! (I wasn't, but made it)
