The Knockmealdown Mountains is a mountain range located on the border of counties Tipperary and Waterford in Ireland, running east and west between the two counties. The highest peak of the range is Knockmealdown, situated in County Waterford.   • Never seen so many rhododendrons of our life! We had the chance to spend just at the right time, in full bloom... Everywhere, these gorgeous flowers embellished R 668 road yet heaped fog by place, with just a bit of blue sky between clouds! Really, if you're there during the 15 days of June, do not hesitate, make a visit, you won't be disappointed!

  • Park at the Vee and you have a choice of two walks or a loop if you have navigation. Great views but choose the weather carefully!  more »
