The Knockmealdown Mountains is a mountain range located on the border of counties Tipperary and Waterford in Ireland, running east and west between the two counties. The highest peak of the range is Knockmealdown, situated in County Waterford.     The highest mountain is Knockmealdown, situated on the old road crosses the pass between the city of Lismore and Clogheen. Naturalistically talking is a beautiful landscape, but driving.

    Great day out on this one, probably one of my favourite walks ever. Visibility was almost zero near the top but on the descent you get the effect of the mountain just disappearing into the clouds. Lik...  more »
