  • This really is worth seeing; brilliant interventions in an extraordinary natural landscape. A perfect 5k walk to blow off the worries of life. And the ghosts of Marconi and his men seem to haunt the p...  more »
  • Lovely walk and very informative. Perfect for walking or biking. Beware of the sheep droppings on the trail ;)
  • This place is barely mentioned in the guides... We stopped for 5 minutes at the most... we stayed more than 3 hours... a wonderful walk in the middle of the wilderness... a bog. Signs over the course explain what was the first transatlantic transmission station. Installed here because it had the fuel to produce electricity and there is peat! We also see the monument of aviators Alcock and Brown... Come here rather than visiting the national park of the Connemara... here by too many tourists... On the other hand... don't stay in the parking lot should not be afraid to walk many kilometres...
