  • Such a beautiful place to visit. Everyone who worked there was so lovely. It was hard not to buy half the shop! The room was also amazing.  more »
  • Had read about this place in the Lonely Planet guide and was intrigued, as were members of our little band of travelers. It took a bit to find it but was totally worth the trip. There is a film about ...  more »
  • We always call in here each time we are in Ireland. A little off the beaten track but it is well worth the visit. You may purchase soaps, creams, shampoos, perfumes, organic teas etc from the main sho...  more »
  • This was recommended to us by another guest at the bed and breakfast we stayed at. After turning down a small side road we were shocked to discover the treasure! It was absolutely awesome! We each bought several products and enjoyed this out of the way stop. I will certainly be returning several more times. FYI: no large buses or coaches stop here so it will not be over run with tourists when you pop by.
  • It was well worth the trek down seemingly endless country roads to find this gem! They have perfumes, lotions, creams, candles, etc. all made with plants and herbs found in The Burren. The staff was friendly and eager to share the ingredients and process that go into each product as well as offer samples of everything they make. The wonderful herb garden out back is a pleasant place to stroll and get up close with the plant life that makes all the wonderful scents and aromas in the products you've tested. The prices seemed reasonable and you can also shop online with free shipping for a minimum purchase amount. The perfumery was also very eco-friendly and seemed to take deep pride in this fact. I'm a 30-year old male who has zero interest in perfumes and whatnot and I was so glad we made the time to find this place, maybe even more than my wife. Give it a chance, gents!
  • A beautiful spot -- a wooded, garden oasis in the midst of the rugged Burren. Interesting shop. Delicious, charming cafe. It is worth the drive just to enjoy the trees, stroll in the garden, enjoy the cafe. So, even if the idea of a perfumery doesn't appeal, it's well worth a visit. And you'll enjoy the views along the drive -- but do get out and walk.... Don't step on the rainbow-colored snails....
  • I ended up in Burren Perfumery as an accident, as I got completely lost on the road. It was marvellous experience however. I got the lecture from them about scents and their perfumes (all free of charge), it was very interesting! Their shop has a very good selection of products (also available online, on their website). I must say the prices are very expensive in my opinion (their perfumes are similar price range of Chanel perfumes, they did say they use same perfume boxes as Chanel! :)), but I did buy some items (argan oil, day cream and few essential oils, such as spearmint and lavender) and I must say the quality is amazing. I have been collecting essential oils and their oils are the best (they are also organic). So, it was money well spent. If you are after very good quality (not a bargain) - you will appreciate the products in there. Their cafe is also nice with some outside seating, we enjoyed the tea and cakes in there. All in all, afternoon very well spent. It is a small business and I am about to place my first order online, since my essential oils have finished. Go there and support local little family business! They are working really hard to ensure best quality. I am happy to see there are still some small family businesses in an ocean of big corparations. This place has a soul.
  • It is a bit of a drive out of the way, but definitely worth it. Great place for gifts. I got the Man of Aran cologne, my wife really likes it. They have candles, lotion, cologne, oils, and perfumes.
