  • If you're passing is worth a brief stop here to visit this Fort and the nearby. Can be reached on foot in 10 minutes and either are in free access.

  • We explored this fort with our four year old. These sites are great as you can climb their stairs and steps and walk on the walls. Check out the creepy tunnel and chambers in the walls.
  • This fort of Caherciveen is a bit more impressive than its neighbour (Cahergall Fort) because it houses the ruins of 4 houses. Amount at the top, you can enjoy a nice view on the surroundings. A walk pleasant and quite short (an hour). Do if you have the time.
