  • Impressed and surprised. I thought it was much more boring instead is lovely, I've never seen it like this. I'd recommend it.

  • We went to the fort at night. Rainy and lit only by our torches, visiting the fort this way was like stepping back through the centuries!  more »

  • Very scenic area on the coast. A lot of fun to walk up and over and around the fort and take in the beautiful views.
  • This is fantastic example of an early medievil stone fort located in caharsiveen on the ring of kerry. This is well worth a visit
  • Awesome in perfect condition. Thousand years old....
  • One of the biggest stone forts I've seen in Ireland and very old to. And theres another fort nearby worth to visit
  • It looks uninteresting in the photos. But the place is worth a visit. Building such a structure just from rocks is amazing
