  • Great museum. Lots of interesting local and military history here. Fantastic views here and beautiful walks.
  • Lovely regional museum. Family history adds an additional interest. Docking one star because I think the displays could do with an overhaul by a professional curator.
  • This museum is very personal to me in a lot of ways. My dad was one of the officers there during the second world war as a member of the FCA and I myself joined in the 1970s and spent a couple of happy summers training at this camp. But the place is full of history and the museum has some great resources with great displays and informative videos. For me though just walking through the place is filled with the feeling of history and you can almost hear the men marching in the square. The view of Lough Swilly is also breathtaking. One of my favourite places on earth.
  • Beautiful place with a few different levels of walks available. The village is as it was and great to explore. You will not get bored here
  • Very interesting spot, has big cannons and museum. Lovely coatline
