Bantry House & Gardens, Bantry

4.1
#1 of 15 in Things to do in Bantry
Explore Bantry House & Gardens, a scenic 18th-century estate that has been in the same family since it was purchased in 1750 by Councilor Richard White. More than 250 years later, the White family still owns, operates, and lives on the property. Visit the historical grounds, which have been open to tourists since 1946. Walk the lush gardens, examine the stables, and view the Queen Anne-style architecture of the building, which was built in 1700. Purchase a refreshment in the Councilor tea room, or stay at the bed-and-breakfast that has been welcoming guests since 1990. Great Mansion with a nice garden to explore. The Mansion Looks a little bit scrapped but during to that it has a unique atmosphere. If you climb up the 100 Steps you will get a fantastic view. If you are in Barry you should visit Barry House & Gardens!

During a stay in the region, it would be a mistake not to stay here. Large and comfortable rooms with modern bathrooms. The bedding is literally outstanding. You have access to a small lounge to take your drinks and a large lounge with large fireplaces and a piano time tail for relax. The setting is enchanting and somewhat mysterious. The breakfast is delicious with salmon smoked in Bantry Bay.
