  • This was a well-preserved ruin, sitting in a picturesque setting next to a quiet river. There was only one sign at the entrance, with some general information about the friary; we found no other signs...  more »

  • Amazing hidden gem - very well preserved and greatest to wander around in peace and quiet, overlooking the River Moy. No doubt the Ballina Greenway will make this plan more popular with tourists once it's built, so visit it now while there's it's likely you'll have the place to yourself!
