  • Visited this Friary on a cold wet November day but it was well worth it. Down a narrow little road but well signposted.You can climb stone staircases to get an overview of the layout, all in all a rew...  more »

  • A 5km detour off the main road but worth a visit. Very well preserved walls .. The site seems to be completely fenced off from the river, which is a pity. Would have liked to view the whole site from ...  more »

  • Amazing hidden gem - very well preserved and greatest to wander around in peace and quiet, overlooking the River Moy. No doubt the Ballina Greenway will make this plan more popular with tourists once it's built, so visit it now while there's it's likely you'll have the place to yourself!
