  • An interesting collection of newspapers and other items from Irish history. It was focused on the Easter rising and civil War when we were there and they cycle the exhibit periodically. Worth a look if you are a history buff. Nice gardens too.
  • What can I say about this. Brilliant, out of this world, what a museum of Irish History. Terrific. Friendly helpful staff, a must visit for anyone interested in the history of Ireland, it has everything. Top class.
  • Extensive, surprising, well organized. It was a free exhibition that I went into to kill some time, but was amazed by how much was inside - spanning nearly 500 years and spanning from news papers to maps to comics. The focus was on Contemporary Irish history - centering on the Easter rising and the steps leading to it. It was Jackie’s interest so it makes sense - the original proclamation was impressive, and how they displayed it was smart. Very heroic view of the slain leaders, but captures the response of the time very well - news papers, letters, etc... no pictures allowed inside, but beautiful garden and interior of house.
  • Absolutely fantastic place, full of very interesting historical documents. Allow plenty of time to do your visit justice.
  • Loved this museum. Very interesting and the maps were fantastic.
