  • We visited with Eddie who is a professional weaver. His fabrics are beautiful, and so perfectly finished. His herringbone tweeds are the best. There are completed garments, throws, scarves, capes, or ...  more »
  • Autumn air? Almost, almost couldn't wait it arrived! House, couch, a blanket, a good book. My plaid by Eddie Doherty has all the nuances of the undergrowth and the blue of the ocean and the immediate capacity to make me relive the extraordinary beauty of Ireland. Eddie Doherty is the most authentic image of this magnificent island. With a smile, welcomes you in his workshop, a tableau of colors and textures, and tells the secrets of his frame. Then you'll be spoilt for choice of jackets, shawls and throws from peat and MOSS colors, rocks and hills.

  • Eddie you happy to receive. And if you ask, will show you how woven with wool blankets, scarves, hats, tweed suits... carries des 17-year-old weaving and unfortunately when it there will be no more. If you're in Ardara, please do not hesitate to go.
