  • Called the most graceful of Ireland, Adare village is gathered around a cluster of thatched cottages built in the 19th century by the English Earl of Dunraven, Squire. Considered heritage to be protected by the Irish Government is one of the most visited tourist attractions. In the middle of the village there is this small museum illustrating the history of Ireland and all the medieval context of this Centre, which has about 3,000 inhabitants. There is also a small shop which sells handicrafts and also a bar. The village is truly spectacular and well worth a visit.

  • No so much a "museum" as it is an "exhibit" about the history of the town in what would otherwise be a storage area. It only takes 10 minutes to walk through the various displays. There's not much organization and it feels rather dusty and lifeless, however if you happen to be in the building it's worth looking at the historical photos. Not worth a special trip.
  • It has indoor and outdoor playground for kids!... so you can drink coffee in peace and quite:)
  • Excellent shopping with exceptional customer service. Thank you Kate!
  • Great place for a "pit stop". Nice, clean. There's a large gift shop and a cafe: restrooms, of course.
  • Not directly my style, old building, old furniture, old doors, old style water pipes... But very clean, nice stuff, czech girls working as waitres... Payment by card possible.
