  • We first saw the mosque after we had arrived at dusk-it was magical. The largely blue ceramics were bathed in a lilac light and with the call to prayer it was surreal. A must see destination.  more »

  • The Jame Mosque or mosque of the Friday, is one of the more attractive of Yazd. It was built in the 13th century and later rebuilt in the XIV. Its greatest value is its minarets, the more Iran (50-52 meters) high, and its a gateway (iwan). In addition, in its interior, there are beautiful mosaics formed by tiles blue... Nighttime lighting that has this mosque is another attraction, since it dyed it completely blue. Recommended.

  • Free access with great tiling work on the minarets and the blue dome. The mosque dressed in another mood when the decorative lights turned on after sunset.
  • Yazd is an extraordinary city. it has kept its old form and is far from the modern rush and filth.
