Shemshak, Tehran

(4.2/5 based on 35+ reviews on the web)
Enjoy yourself in the snow at Shemshak, a ski resort perched almost 3,050 m (10,000 ft) above sea level. Forming part of the Alborz mountain range, the site welcomes adventure-lovers and snow sports enthusiasts in a quiet, secluded area. Take one of the two ski lifts as far up the mountain as you dare, then ski or snowboard down either of the two main slopes. Although the resort caters mainly to more experienced skiers, it offers something to ensure that everyone has a good time. You can even go skiing at night, thanks to the resort's lighting facilities. Use our Tehran itinerary maker to add Shemshak and other attractions to your Tehran vacation plans.
