Learn about the history of Iranian cinema at Cinema Museum. Exhibits include equipment, pictures, and posters of Iranian cinema through history, all with explanations in English. The palace where the museum is housed today was once a residence of the Qajar family, and it had many owners before it became a museum in 2002. Visit the cafe and the restaurant for a break; afterward watch some classic or modern Iranian movies in the 121-seat cinema on site. • A hundred years old building which exhibits history of leather country Iran. With the first movie of this country where it is a cinema Chair in ancient times, long rows in a room that had a page แต่าง with fine stucco fall beautiful. But there is nothing very interesting, if not a person interested in the matter to the movie to see, not to persons it out. Very affordable admission fee baht

  • After many excursions discovering the history of Iran, visiting this museum is highly refreshing! You get to see the old and new Iran together in one place. The museum is "friendly" enough to educate ...  read more »
  • The Cinema Museum is located in a small, beautiful park, almost at the upper end of Valiasr Street in the North of the city. The magnificent, decorated with stucco building has a rich history and the Museum only a few years ago. Also who is not particularly interested in Iranian film, should come because of the Park and of the building, even with an entrance fee of €5. To the country's cinema history, you will find here many information, awards, stories... What amazes me the most is the large number of cinemas, which previously had the city. Today, they are largely disappeared (as almost everywhere else). -Who cares about old movie machine etc., come here even at his own expense. There is a very nice Café in the Park.

  • Nothing special for a tourist, could be only interesting for people who've followed Iranian cinema in the past 5 decades. Even for people who know about Iranian cinema, the museum mostly offers old movie posters, nothing else. The museum is designed well though. Relatively cheap entrance fee.
  • A unique collection of photos and information about the history of cinema in Iran. The building has a unique architecture and there are 3 cafés nearby.
  • Cinema Museum has a gorgeous building and the landscape is quite beautiful. The interior, however, is designed with bad taste. The museum contains historical documents and equipments of Iranian cinema and there are rooms dedicated to the international awards won by Iranian directors such as Kiarostami, Bani-Etemaad, Mehrjoui, Makhmalbaf, and more.
  • very beautiful and relaxing environment with fairly good cafés
  • Great details and photo,
