Inspirock Rating:
4.1/5 based on 100+ reviews on the web
Shop with the locals at Bazaar of Tabriz, the oldest bazaar in the Middle East listed as a World Heritage Site. The world's oldest roofed bazaar sits along the Silk Road occupying several interconnected brick buildings, corridors, and central courtyards (Caravanserais). Refreshingly cold in the summer and comfortably warm in the winter, its alleys are lined with stores selling traditional Iranian goods, such as Persian carpets, golden jewelry, shoes, dried fruit, spices, etc. The market is also used in religious ceremonies and for political gatherings.
