  • Unfortunately the appadana palace is ruined during wars and time and compare to takhte Jamshid or acropolice in Greece there is nothing left to see but some columns and ruined but it is still nice . C...  more »
  • The old capital of the Elamite Empire, destroyed and rebuilt several times, there was practically nothing. The immense Apadana Palace did not remain practically nothing, if not a few crumbling columns and some rather battered capital. It takes a great effort of imagination to imagine what there was and no longer exists. Interesting little Museum of Susa which houses a few interesting finds, although the most important ones are now located at the National Museum of Iran in Tehran. The archaeological site of Susa is really disappointing, not worth nor a park nor a detour.

  • Deserves for the historical significance of the place. Especially worth it for the small museum, which although small, offers a number of important archaeological finds
