  • Just the right size to see in 1-2 hours and not hectic like the one in Tehran. Everything from pottery to spices to rugs to clothing. Great place for reasonable souvenirs.
  • Much better than the Tehran one the Vakil Bazar is an experience you cannot avoid. Buy safran at very competitive price.
  • It's not too big where you'll get lost (See Grand Bazaar, Tehran) and not too small. Not too crowd. You can easily spend 1-2 hours there and have some tea break in between. Carpet shops are above my p...  more »

  • Shiraz is awesome. You have to stay there at least for 2 days. We have been amazed by all these lovely carpets and mosques and bazzar are great too. Really nice experience
  • this old historical bazaar has a lot to offer, even people watching can be part of the activity! you can mostly find hand crafted decorations or ornaments plus great spices
  • The bazzar is maze-like, odourful and colourful but it is a little bit seedy after dark. You can find everything from second-hand goods, clothes, fruits and souvenir. Be prepared to spend a couple hours to shop here.
  • Shiraz traditional market where you can see the most beautiful handicrafts of the region as well as carpets and local custom. The building has a unique architecture and you can see the ancient art in it.
  • The historic market really nice. I invite all people of the world to see Shiraz.
