  • A must see when in Shiraz. From rugs to fabric, to jewelry and Shiraz souvenirs, this is a place you may want to set aside a couple days to see. Most stores start open after 1:30pm. The crowd dies down then, as people go home to eat. Recommend visiting after 1:30pm for a more peaceful visit. Don't be afraid to barter a little for a more suitable deal.
  • Lovely traditional bazzar where you can find anything from Persian carpets to traditional clothes, sweets, jewellery, fabrics, leather goods and everyday items. The Persian carpets are reasonably prices but ask for prices from several shops if you like a better deal. There are facilities in the nearby mosque
  • Love this bazaar. The first shop near entry on your right on entering sells particularly nice Qashqai rugs.
  • The ancient Vakil bazaar (Bazar-e Vakil) lies near the Vakil mosque & is the finest bazaar of Shiraz, Iran. It consists of a series of vaulted brick avenues with courtyards, caravanserais, bath houses, & old shops. The Vakil bazaar is full of shops selling handicrafts, Persian rugs, carpets, scarves, spices & many other things. Bargaining is must if you want to buy rugs, carpets, or handicrafts.
  • I have been to this baazaar few times, old shops with vintage items. you can easily spend all your money at this bazaar.

Where to stay in Shiraz

The main bazaar district in the center of town remains the primary place to look for accommodations in Shiraz. Standard hotels tower over the public squares, and side street hostels offer particularly budget-friendly dormitory room stays. To the north of this central district, you'll find the most opulent options in town, with luxury hotels offering commanding views of traditional Persian gardens, swimming pools, and onsite fine-dining restaurants.
