Experience the desert silence at Shahdad Kalouts in one of the hottest places on earth. Kalouts are a natural type of dunes. The desert offers a scenery of the sandy structures, and you can walk right through them. Rocks rise like castles from the sand, and the feeling of peace spreads around. Be prepared to feel the heat of the desert sun, in fact, consider visiting late in the afternoon, since the desert can reach temperatures of 70 C (158 F). If you decide to stay overnight, watch for a view of the desert sunset and a sky full of stars.
