  • If you don't have time to see Bam, Rayen castle is its small bro and worth to see. Don't forget to ask the guard to let you go on top of the castle to see the castle with the highest mountain of Kerma...  more »
  • Southeast of Kerman Rayen Castle or even Arg-e Rayen, extending on an area of 20,000 square meters fortress, which dates back to the time of the wet to Abbasid Empire (224 - 649 ad) is located about 100 km. In contrast to the much more well-known world cultural heritage, the Citadel of BAM, this fortress has largely harmless survived the great earthquake of 2003 and 2004. The size of the inner fortifications with the many well-preserved loam buildings before is very impressive, even if some rule buildings were restored in the rear part of the area and the many newly laid electricity cables and lamps a little tarnish the ancient flair. Many tourists seem to get lost not just here, on this huge area, we are completely alone on the road! Except the ticket seller, which we probably today bought the first tickets for 200,000 riyals per person, we see no more a soul during our one-hour well visit.
