  • On a rock above the city's citadel. Fantastic location and a wonderful view over the (not so interesting) city. Houses a quite large and very nice ethnographic museum. There is clearly much to restored but gives a very good impression of the past.

  • Instead of flying Tehran Ahvaz, we preferred the drive with intermediate stops in Khorramabad. It's certainly a bit exhausting, but this way you can visit Arak-industrial city-with a nice Bazaar and the Hammam, and then the Castle Falak ol-Aflak in Khorramabad, and also have a true contact with places of intense tourist visitation and not always friendly and courteous people. Always in peace and security. The Castle, of the Sassanid era and then seat of the Qajar Government, sits on top of a hill overlooking the city. It's right in the Middle, and then leave the car in a parking lot or in the nearby hotel, and paid the normal entrance fee, within minutes the smooth ascent on foot-calmly because the opening is up to 20. Impressive inside, and home to a museum exhibition, rebuilding a marriage varies with Nomadic inhabitants of the border. Display with movies, not all working, but display of easy enjoyment. Photo panorama at the exit to get back in this vibrant city.
