Historical beauty melds with nature at Shazdeh Garden. Originally built in 1850 for Mohammad Hassan Khan Qajar Sardari Iravani, who was part of the Qajar royal family that ruled Persia, the garden provides a stunning contrast to its desert surroundings. The garden features a myriad of color from the varieties of cedar, pine, buttonwood, elm, and fruit trees. A rectangular wall surrounds the garden with two buildings on both the east and west sides. Numerous water fountains stand throughout the garden and play an important role in its irrigation. • This garden can be visited along with a trip to the city of Rayen. Is an interesting place for a rest and have a snack during the tour.

  • It's definitely worth it. Nice with the several Levels and the mountains surrounding it. Great view from there
  • One of the most beautiful gardens that we have seen. If you speak German the proprietor of the shop will be inexhaustible. A do while visiting Mahan and its famous mosque.
