  • There is no direct bus to Piazza Kamal al molk. Only the yellow buses and the blue buses leave. However we asked in French which bus to take. It should have a green bus at the intersection of the streets on Kashani and Bab Afzal. Only in English or French, it would have been too complicated to explain to the operators of the terminal of Kamal Al Molk, who preferred to entrust to the care of a blue bus driver, by denying that we were paying a ticket, which approached us as much as possible of the garden, we asked to get off and wait the following green stop. We have assigned to the proposal to 5 000 tomans to a marauding taxi for the last one or two km to the garden. Otherwise, we had ended up in a green bus for a prize draw or ridiculous. For the amount, it's not the kindness and the sense of service of officials who made this "adventure" a moment of choice of our trip. Return by bus (we had this time firmly resisted the marauding taxi) was just as pleasant. They close only one leaf on two of the front door to aerate the buses, and drivers have asked us to we sit in the front row - a couple of side men of the bus-to easily tell us when to get off. The garden is pleasant, but we were disappointed not to find such Orange indicated in the Lonely Planet.

  • My father was born in Kashan and he used to tell me that when he was a kid the family used to go to Bagheh Fin at the weekend and he used to swim there. Of course not allowed anymore. When I was 12 years old he took me there but we could just lookin through the doorway as we got there too late traveling from Tehran. There were man-made streams that came out of the garden and as it was going dark he insisted that we dip in there. We did and it was amazing. The owner of a household near the garden saw us. The stream ran through his house too and he invited us to go in. There was a little pool in the middle of his garden which was filled constantly by the water coming from the Fin. He invited us to dip in the little pool there. We thanked him but we didn't. That was 44 years ago in the summer of 1971.
  • Tragic back story behind a beautiful garden oasis. Absolutely love the patterns on the ceilings and the flowing water throughout the grounds.
  • The didn't support credit cards and you can't find ATM around so bring some cash, the garden is really beautiful, you can find some documents and letters about Amir Kabir and Nasser-AldinShah.
  • Beautiful, yet not overly impressive garden regarding its planting. Considering how dry it is in and around Kashan, it is however a remarkably green oasis. Don't go to the adjacent café though. We paid 25 Toman for a tea pot – you could get five of those in one of the normally priced places down the street just outside the complex.
  • It's nice if you have time and extra money. Gardens in Iran are impressive for locals as they don't see so much green. And the price for foreigners is too high.
