Built in the late 16th century during the Safavid era, the complex showcases a traditional Persian style garden. Natural springs provide vivid turquoise water for the garden’s many streams, ponds, and fountains, centered around an intricately decorated, two-story residence, built for the Shah that ruled at the time. Take a tour of the of the garden’s lush paths, lined with cedars and cypress trees, and visit the historic bathhouse where Prime Minister Amir Kabir was assassinated in 1852.
